Windows file shortcuts for Finder
Switched from Windows and still reach for Ctrl+X, Delete or F2? WinClick adds the file shortcuts and right-click menu items that Finder never had — Cut and Paste for files, a New submenu, Open Terminal Here and more. Every item can be switched on or off.
Open the downloaded .dmg and drag WinClick to Applications. On first launch the Setup tab walks you
through enabling the Finder extension and granting Accessibility, which lets the helper see the shortcut keys.
Keys are matched, never recorded or sent anywhere.
macOS does not show Finder extension menus inside iCloud Drive, so Cut, Paste and New do not appear in Desktop or Documents while those are synced to iCloud. Other cloud folders (Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive) are likely affected the same way. Local folders, Downloads and external drives work normally.
